Mohsen Namjoo, singer songwriter, music scholar and Setar player who seamlessly blends classical Persian music with electric guitar, Rock and the Blues will perform on October 17th at ASU Kerr, Scottsdale AZ.
This evening will showcase Mohsen Namjoo’s musical prowess, beginning with a solo performance from his new ‘Minooor’ project, followed by another solo set after a short intermission.
The new “Minooor” Project starts the first part of the program which features a solo performance by Mohsen Namjoo, with videos playing in the background accompanying the performance as an audio/visual journey through a small segment of contemporary Iranian history. Essentially, Namjoo invites us to revisit our auditory and visual memories and recall the sounds that permeated lives in the 1980s.
