Gelareh Sheibani & Shervin Najafian

About The Event

We are delighted to announce an extraordinary musical event in Los Angeles, featuring the renowned artists Gelareh Sheibani and Shervin Najafian, presented by the RAD Arts Foundation.

Some journeys are chosen.
Others are necessary.

About Gelareh Sheibani

Gelareh Sheibani started singing in Iran in the 1990s, when women were not allowed to perform. She kept going anyway. What followed was a remarkable path across countries and stages – from small clubs in Malaysia to thousands – capacity venues in China, building a life through music wherever she could. Today, she brings a sound that is uniquely her own: country and blues, sung in Farsi, shaped by years of travel, challenge, and reinvention.

About Shervin Najafian

Shervin Najafian began his musical journey in a time when music itself was restricted. Through persistence and dedication, he became one of the most outstanding Iranian guitarists, known for both his technical mastery and deep understanding of music. From underground performances and composing for film and television in Iran, to performing and studying in Europe, his path reflects a lifetime commitment to the craft. Many also remember him from his early years as a child actor, long before music became his central voice.

Two artists shaped by resistance, movement; and a refusal to stop, now sharing the same stage, After a long journey, they now live in Los Angeles. And this is another adventure, the beginning of a new story of immigration, love of music, and resilience.
